Ordering Printed T-Shirts

Ordering Printed T-Shirts.

There are several things to consider when ordering printed t-shirts if you have never done this before.  The better you understand the process the more likely you will be happy when the finished shirts arrive.

There are four things any printer will need to know before they can start on your t-shirt order.  Before you get started, think through who will wear the shirt and what the underlying purpose is for buying the shirts.  Is this for a sports team or workers at your business?  What will they be most comfortable wearing?  OK, now you are ready to begin.

  • First, what type of t-shirt do you want? There are lots of options from fabric to style: V-necks, tanks, long sleeved, 100% cotton, blended, dri-wicking just to name a few.
  • Second, what shirt color do you want?
  • Next, how many printed shirts do you want?
  • Finally, what do you envision being printed on the front/back/sleeve of your shirts.

All of the above points will effect the final price of the shirts.  Dark shirts cost more than white ones.  The more shirts you print the less per shirt they will cost.  Be sure to ask about print cost breaks.  Typical print breaks are 12 – 24 – 36 – 72 – 144.  Also, the number of ink colors on the front and the back will effect the cost.  One ink color costs less to print than three ink colors.

To get your t-shirt design ready to print you will probably need help.  There are many technical details that are important in creating the artwork.  One of our services is to help our clients create great looking t-shirt designs. Go visit our GALLERY to see some or our work.

Be sure to select a supplier who has a good track record and can thoroughly explain the entire process.

We would love to help you with your next order.  All these needed details are outlined on our PRINTED T-SHIRTS page. Simply fill in the information you know and we will contact you.

Good Things Don’t Happen by Accident

As an entrepreneur, my highest priority is to meet my customer’s expectations spot on. When they open the box containing the items they ordered I want them to see exactly what they expected to receive. Their reaction should simply be, “This is what I ordered”.

When the final result of a process is what was expected, many things had to happen on purpose with little chance of deviation. Stated in reverse, if anything is left to chance in a process it is virtually guaranteed that something will go wrong.

This process of getting things right requires foreknowledge of the possible pitfalls that lie ahead. And it takes time to learn. In my industry a common every day order can have as many as forty-five details that must be managed correctly.

So get in there and create the system to manage ALL the details. Make the good things happen on purpose.  Then, when the process is completed correctly, and you deliver a product or service done right, you get to experience the approval of a satisfied customer. This is how you build repeat business.
