Ordering Printed T-Shirts.
There are several things to consider when ordering printed t-shirts if you have never done this before. The better you understand the process the more likely you will be happy when the finished shirts arrive.
There are four things any printer will need to know before they can start on your t-shirt order. Before you get started, think through who will wear the shirt and what the underlying purpose is for buying the shirts. Is this for a sports team or workers at your business? What will they be most comfortable wearing? OK, now you are ready to begin.
- First, what type of t-shirt do you want? There are lots of options from fabric to style: V-necks, tanks, long sleeved, 100% cotton, blended, dri-wicking just to name a few.
- Second, what shirt color do you want?
- Next, how many printed shirts do you want?
- Finally, what do you envision being printed on the front/back/sleeve of your shirts.
All of the above points will effect the final price of the shirts. Dark shirts cost more than white ones. The more shirts you print the less per shirt they will cost. Be sure to ask about print cost breaks. Typical print breaks are 12 – 24 – 36 – 72 – 144. Also, the number of ink colors on the front and the back will effect the cost. One ink color costs less to print than three ink colors.
